As a teacher, you will be dealing with the conversational English; mainly elementary school level. Most of private schools are for elementary school pupils and you might have some pre-school classes. Therefore making good rapport with children is essential. If you do not love working with kids, please, refrain from applying.
You can expect to teach 27 - 30 hours per week; therefore, no more than 120 hours per calendar month.
Class is conducted in two ways: You will pair with a Korean-English teacher. Or you teach the class all by yourself. In this case, students are not allowed to speak Korean. You do not need to learn some Korean language expressions to teach in Korea even though you will pick up some eventually. Bilingual Korean teachers are always at hand to assist the foreign teacher. |

Generally, there is no dress code. Anyway important issue is you need to look professional. Therefore, Jean with holes and short pants are not allowed.
