Is there a dress code to which I am expected to comply?
Few language schools have dress codes. In reality, the more professionally you dress (at least shirt and dress slacks or long skirt and jacket) the better the impression you make. Everyone has his or her own personal sense of style, but it is recommended that you dress appropriately as seen fit.
I have a pet cat that I dearly love. Am I able to bring the cat to Korea?
In general, the answer to this question is YES. It is important that you let us know in advance if a pet accompanies you.
Your pet will be required to have up-to-date immunizations with accompanying documentation. Also, you should know that the costs for transporting your pet to Korea are your sole responsibility.
For religious and personal reasons, I cannot live with an opposite-sex roommate.
Can I be assured of being assigned living accommodation with a same-sex roommate?
Every effort will be made to satisfy your preferences.
In some cases, this may not be economically feasible for your employer, but in most cases a satisfactory solution can be found.
When your prospective employer cannot arrange a solution, we can always look for others who can offer housing to your satisfaction and requirements.
Can I teach privately on the side to make more money and gain additional experience?
It is usually easy to arrange private lessons with individuals or groups. Be aware, however, that, unless you obtain specific permission, such work is technically illegal.
